Races
Ashes of Creation offers nine playable races.[1]
- Aela Humans (Kaelar and Vaelune)
- Pyrian Elves (Empyrean and Py’Rai)
- Kaivek Orcs (Ren’Kai and Vek)
- Dünzenkell Dwarves (Dünir and Niküa)
- Tul'nar
Racial influence
A player's choice of race will influence additional features of gameplay.[2]
- Each race will have different base stats.
- Racial augments may be applied to primary Archetype skills.
- Races are not gender or Class locked.
- Some classes may work better with certain races but nothing is enforced.
Racial influence on nodes
A Node's architecture is determined by the primary race that contributes to its development.[3]
Starting zones
Players will be able to choose their starting Divine gateway.[4]
