Races

Ashes of Creation offers nine playable races.[2]

Racial influence

A player's choice of race will influence additional features of gameplay.[4]

  • Each race will have different base stats.
  • Racial augments may be applied to primary Archetype skills.
  • Races are not gender or Class locked.
  • Some classes may work better with certain races but nothing is enforced.

Racial influence on nodes

A Node's architecture is determined by the primary race that contributes to its development.[5]

Starting zones

Players will be able to choose their starting Divine gateway.[6]
