Military nodes are focused on combat and class training.[1]
- Guard NPCs are present from the first stage of development (Expedition).[1]
- Honor is a potential currency earned through personal progression at military nodes.[2]
- Potentially one of the contenders for our Military Metropolis unique benefits would be access to a hero system based cross-server competition for specific archetypes, but we're still in discussions about that.[3] – Steven Sharif
Military nodes enable Bounty hunters and (potentially) reduced duration of corruption.[4][5]
Government
Military node mayors are elected based on trial by combat. During the election week the node will enter an open-PvP battleground state for hour-long periods where candidates (and their citizen supporters) compete to gain points by securing objectives. The highest point winner at the end of the week will win.[6][7]
- Previously the developers were considering champions that fought in a last-man-standing arena.[8][9][10][11][12]
Unique node buildings
Each node type has a unique service building associated with it that can be activated at Village (stage 3) of node advancement.[14] The unique building plays a central role in the progress of civilization for a server.[15]
